Sales Assistant


Job Description

Responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.

 

Job Details:

  • Answering queries from customers, giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers. 
  • Aid customers in locating merchandise; ensure no customer is unattended.
  • Responsible in dealing with customer complaints & communicate customer requests/complaints to the management.
  • Be involved in stock control and management. 
  • Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements. 
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping. 
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and stocking shelves with merchandise. 
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
  • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor. 
  • Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.

Skills:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment within UAE
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome
  • Basic selling skills
  • Good knowledge of product’s categories handled
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Knowledge in spoken Arabic would be an advantage.
